Product Description
Application:
AAC Cable(named as aluminium stranded conductor) is widely used in the overhead power transimission lines and distribution system,and it is one of the main products to form electrified wire network.
Description:
Bare concentric-lay-stranded aluminium wires constructed with a straight round central aluminum wire surrounded by one or more layers of helically laid aluminium wires.
The most commonly used stranding consists of 7, 19, 37, 61 and 91 wires.
In all constructions, the successive layers shall have opposite directions of lay, the outermost layer being right-handed.
Specification:
1. Conductor: hard drawn 1350 aluminum
2. Sectional area: 10-1000mm2
3. Tensile strength of individual wire: 160-200 MPa
4. Elongation at break: 1.5%-2.3%
5. No. of strands: 7, 19, 37, 61, 91
6. Sectional area: 10-1500mm2
7. Consutruction: concentrically stranded round conductor
8. Min. bending radius: 30 times cable radius
9. Conductivity: 61% IACS
Advantages:
1.Simple structure;
2. Convenient to erection and maintenance;
3. Low cost for power line;
4. Large transmission capacity;
5. Beneficial to lay in special geographic conditions, such as across rivers and valleys.
6. Excellent conductivity;
7. Enough mechanical strength;
8. Large tensile stress.
9. Pole distance amplification allowed.
